The Power of BACK
Okay … I’ve got this awesome post, spend over two hours tonight on it … and then BAM … moved my hand slightly, and pressed the BACK button on my 5-button mouse.
Boom. Gone.
There isn’t a power in the world that can bring those hundreds of words back to me. Except they will come back, not now, but later. Just … it’s painful to lose something you thought was good writing. Or at least it was a lot of writing. Heh heh.
Night night.
Know what you mean. Been there, done that.
What I usually do now is open TextPad and do all my writing there, edit, spellcheck etc… Of course saving occasionally to C:\Temp\WhatEver.txt then cut\paste on webpage and then submit.
Maybe this will work for you also.

Kevin,
Thanks for this pearl. I’d often thought about doing something like this, but refuse to be beaten by the system in place
ha ha. Silly i know.
But thanks for the notepad method, sounds pretty safe and with many more redundancy features than wordpress, heh heh.
