  1. Yeah, I wonder about this. I’m sure it’s gonna raise a lot of issues, one way or another. The guy doing the talking sounds like a bit of a gimp … but he’s saying stuff that some people like to hear.

    I think what it boils down to is people’s frustrations with large software companies like Macrohard and Apple basically wiping their hands clean whenever their software kills your data or OS and leaving you with no recourse except to restore from a backup or, even worse, a full reinstall of the OS.

    This is one approach that could be taken to make software more professional but I don’t think it can feasibly work.
